First ever "Family and Community Connection Event" to be held on March 6th

First ever "Family and Community Connection Event" to be held on March 6th

As part of our community schools model, the Newton Public Schools are hosting our first ever Family and Community Connection Event on March 6, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Merriam Avenue School.  This gathering will bring together parents and over 30 local organizations for a wonderful opportunity to meet up and learn about the resources available in our community in the arts and recreation, health care and wellness, social services, corporate connections, and even some Alumni All-Stars.  We will also offer a taste from several of our local restaurants and give away prizes throughout the evening.

Families will have the availability of child care for school-aged children as well as shuttle transportation from the following locations in town: 100 Swartswood Rd (Landmark West), 33 Mill St (Brookside), 44 Ryerson Ave (Newton HS), and Trinity St Municipal Lot #4 (directly across from the police station).

Parents who are interested in attending can RSVP by clicking this Google Survey link and answering a few questions.  We look forward to seeing you on March 6th!
