Guidance Services Hours : Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm Junior and Senior students who qualify can register for the following courses given at Newton High School for the 2010-2011 school year. Precalculus ACP 6 credits Western Civilization I & II 6 credits Advanced Placement Biology 8 credits Both high school and college credits can be attained through this Concurrent Enrollment Process. If your student is recommended and registered for the above courses, they may want to consider SCCC Concurrent Enrollment credits. The cost is $125 per semester/per course paid to SCCC totaling $250. Interested students should pick up both an SCCC application & parental permission form in Guidance May 3-7. Completed forms are due back by May 10 so testing can be scheduled. Testing is required and will be offered at no cost at the high school after school at 2:45 on May 17 & 18. Students must sign up in guidance for testing, as space is limited.
