Wonderful Performances!

The delightful sounds of our first graders entertained us for their “Outer Space” theme concert on May 8th. This was their first stage performance. Their songs reflected their lessons during music class. The students did a great job singing “The Planets”, “Sun Power”, “Moon Madness”, “Out of Sight Flight”, “Interplanetary Mail”, and “The Earth is Number One”. They sang beautifully!

Our second graders filled the All Purpose room with joyful singing on March 20th for their annual concert. “American Heritage” represented the theme of the night.  The students sang “I Had a Dream”, “We Call it America”, “Broken Dreams”, “Movin on Out”, “We the People”, and “Finale Medley”. During their music class, the children practiced their songs and studied their lessons for a few weeks. It was a special evening.

January 23rd was our third grade Arts & Music Night. Our students performed an outstanding show singing songs related to the weather. They sang “Thunder”, “Singin in the Rain”, “Have You Ever Seen the Rain”, “I Can See Clearly Now”, and “Here Comes the Sun”. Native American rain sticks were constructed during their art classes to accompany the rain songs. The Art segment of the evening was inspired by the cold climate, which the students were able to create penguins on the snow. It was a marvelous show.
