The following donations were made by community members/organizations and were formally accepted by the Board of Education. We appreciate your generous support of our students!
- $1,000 anonymously for the Newton High School Wrestling Team
- $950 grant from the National Defense Education Program for the Newton Robotics Team
- $500 education grant from WalMart
- $2,500 from Thorlabs for the Halsted Middle School Technology Program
- Rifton equipment (valued at $3,573) from the Green Township Board of Education
- $7,500 from FIRST through the Newton Pride Foundation for the Newton Robotics Team
- $200 from the Newton Pride Foundation for the Newton Robotics Team
- $100 from Mary Lou Schoonover in memory of David Popek, Jr. for the football and cheering programs at Newton High School
- $1,479 from Eileen Griffiths for purchase of a Grizzly 2HP mill/drill for students at Newton High School
- $1,000 from Pharmgate, LLC through the Newton Pride Foundation for the Newton Robotics Team
- $140 from Jill Rosenthal in memory of Jack Rosenthal for the 6th grade class trip at Halsted Middle School
- $140 from Donna Rosenthal in memory of Jack Rosenthal for the 6th grade class trip at Halsted Middle School
- $1,000 anonymously for the Newton Robotics Team
- Three Hewlett Packard 4050 printers (valued at $200 each) from ThorlabsakerBot Replicator 2X Printer (valued at $2,799) from the Judy and Josh Weston Foundation for the Newton Robotics Team
- $5,000 from FIRST for the Newton Robotics Team
