The Newton Football family is overjoyed to begin the season this Friday night at 7:00 p.m. versus High Point. This will be our Senior Recognition game. We are prepared (rain or shine) to recognize the seniors of band, cheer, and football prior to the start of the game. Unfortunately, as a result of league rules and current COVID-19 guidelines, Newton HS will be unable to have a public sale of tickets for this game or any upcoming football games this season. Tickets will be distributed among the home and away teams each week, with emphasis on the immediate family members of the game day participants receiving the tickets. We understand your fervor and desire to support our mighty Braves, so we encourage you to tune in to YouTube under Morris Sussex Sports. They will be covering all of our home games. The link to the live broadcast can be found here for your viewing pleasure.

The Newton Athletic Department thanks you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Go Braves!

I realize many different organizations and many great causes ask you for money.  In order to give you an extra incentive to donate to our cause, we are using a unique fundraiser called FootballMania that gives you a chance to win cash prizes.  With every $20 donation,  you get music downloads at, and more importantly, you get a complimentary FootballMania sweepstakes game card based on professional football.  With your game card, you have a chance to win $1,000s in cash prizes. Best of all, you don’t need to know anything about the sport to play along. Once you are entered, you automatically have a chance to win in each of the 10 weeks of the fundraiser!

It is a really fun way for you to support our organization!  Please donate now to my fundraising effort by using the link below and following the directions to get your FootballMania game cards:

Deliver Together  High school students from New Jersey have launched Deliver Together to positively impact those affected by the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Working together with community leaders, we are organizing free-delivery and errand-runs to mitigate the spread of the disease among those most vulnerable. We believe that it is our obligation to provide aid to those in-need and protect the them from unnecessarily journeying outside the safety of their homes. All the funds provided will cover operational costs, including initiating a website, compensating for gas, and protective gear for volunteers. This initiative will drastically lower the chances of elderly coming in contact with the disease by ensuring they remain within the confines of their home. Deliver Together is counting on your support to help move this initiative forward and defeat and the novel Coronavirus. We welcome any donations and suggestions and are extremely grateful for those who support this initiative!

Sojihuggles Children’s Foundation has provided over $13,000 in aid to families in need in Sussex County in just the past week alone. We are fortunate to have a very generous donor who will match additional contributions up to $12,000.
