Earth Day Fair Coming to Sparta Town Hall on
April 25, 2026 11:00 a.m-3:00 p.m.
Sparta, NJ – On Saturday, April 25, the Sparta Township Environmental Commission will be sponsoring an Earth Day Fair at Sparta Town Hall (65 Main Street in Sparta) from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This free, family event will showcase numerous exhibitors from conservation organizations throughout North Jersey. There will be tons of hands-on activities for children and adults, including:
Facepainting
Pollinator planting
Crafting with recycled materials
Making pinecone birdfeeders
Environmental games
Fly tying
Live aquatic insects
Pollution demonstrations with a watershed model
Native plant sale
And more!
While there is no cost for admission, lunch will be available for purchase. Please bring non-perishable items for a food drive that will be conducted for Sparta Community Food Pantry as part of the event. The Earth Day Fair will be held rain or shine. In the event of rain, the Earth Day Fair will be moved inside the Town Hall Building.
Overflow parking will be available at the Sparta VFW building, across the street from Town Hall.
