Join the Newton Police Department for a Car Seat Safety Event designed to help families keep their children safe on the road. Held on Monday, April 27, 2026 from 1:00–3:00 PM at Merriam Avenue Elementary School, this informative session, presented in partnership with Safe Kids Northern New Jersey, will be led by certified car seat technicians. Parents and caregivers will learn about the importance of proper car seat use, when to make adjustments as children grow, and why kids should ride in the back seat.
