The NHS Girls XC team secured an impressive 3rd place finish at the State Sectional meet, earning their spot in the State Group meet next Saturday. Kudos to Maggie Daggett for her outstanding performance, earning a medal with an 8th place finish!

Dr. John C. Mather, a renowned physicist and Nobel Prize winner, was honored with the dedication of two newly renovated science classrooms in his name on Thursday, June 12. A graduate of Newton High School from the class of 1964, he has made significant contributions to the field of physics. His groundbreaking work on the COBE telescope earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2006.

Today, our school community joined forces with the Newton Police Department and local law enforcement for the 2025 Special Olympics Torch Run. What a fantastic day to celebrate as BRAVES and support such an inspiring cause!
