Last week, Newton High School partnered with various organizations to host the One-Hit-Away program, promoting safe driving habits among students. The event included a Safe Driving Presentation by the NJ State Police and an Impaired and Distracted Driving Simulation by the Newton police. The program aimed to educate students about the dangers of reckless driving and empower them to make responsible choices behind the wheel. The event was made possible through the collaboration of dedicated organizations and agencies. Special thanks to all involved, including: Farmstead Golf and Country Club, Andover Township Police Department, Newton DPW, Newton Public Schools, Hardyston Police, and The Center for Prevention & Counseling.
