Due to the Winter Weather Advisory, high winds, and wintry mix predicted to impact travel throughout the day, the Newton Public Schools are closed today - March 3. We will make this day up as a "planned early dismissal day" on Friday, April 3.

Congratulations to the JV girls basketball team on their 20-11 victory over Lafayette yesterday. Brianna Torres was the team’s high scorer with 10 points. The girls finished the season with an outstanding 7-1 record. Amazing season girls!
The varsity girls basketball team came out with a bang, topping Lafayette 28-13 yesterday afternoon. Anna Sandberg was the Braves high scorer with 9 points. Brookelynn Morse and Dylann Stoner combined for 25 rebounds, 9 steals, and 8 blocked shots. The girls finished their regular season on a 7 game winning streak. Next up is Green Hills in the first game of the Hardyston Tournament on Monday. Great game and good luck girls!
