#184DaysofBrave: Day 52 On Monday scholars and staff came together in observance of Veteran's Day to honor those that have served for our country. A remembrance table and remembrance cards were placed inside our front door, so that the Halsted community could honor our Veterans together!

5th grade students worked together to build words by analyzing Greek and Latin roots, identifying prefixes and suffixes to unlock new meanings. By breaking down each word, they strengthened their understanding of language and expanded their vocabulary with confidence.

Today, Mr. Miller announced that our Spring 2025 Musical is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr.! Audition packets and information can be picked up in the main office. Auditions will be held on 11/12 and 11/13. Show dates are 3/28, 3/29, and 3/30 of 2025!

#184DaysofBrave: Day 39 Scholars are getting to celebrate our Red Ribbon Week against drugs! Don't forget to dress up each day to show your support! Also, scholars who took part in our Walk to School event on Tuesday got to take part in an extra recess incentive today!
