#184DaysofBrave: Day 60 The faculty and staff at HMS would like to wish our Halsted Community a very 🦃🍁 Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁🦃 As we take a break this week, let’s remember to give thanks for all the good things in our lives — friends, family, and the little moments that make us smile. It’s also a time to rest and recharge, so we’re ready to finish the year strong and head into the holiday season feeling refreshed. Enjoy the break, eat some good food, and spend time with those you care about! 🙌🍂 #Grateful #Thankful #RestUp #HappyThanksgiving

#184DaysofBrave: Day 58 The Halsted Middle School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is doing a Thanksgiving food drive. Their community service project is called Food4Life. They will be holding several food collection drives throughout the year during holiday times. They are asking for donations of non- perishable food items such as canned vegetables, canned fruit, soups, and boxed items like stuffing, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. These items can be brought to the main office by Tuesday, 11/26. The food will be donated to a local food pantry at St. Joseph’s Church in Newton. The food will be shared with almost 100 families across our community. We are looking forward to making an impact!
